What is Tandem Skydiving?
A tandem skydive allows you to experience the thrill of freefall with just a brief training session. You will skydive harnessed to the front of a fully qualified tandem instructor from a height of up to 15,000 ft. You will enjoy an adrenaline packed freefall reaching speeds of around 120 mph followed by a short canopy ride to bring you safely back to the ground.
On the Day
When you arrive at the dropzone, you will need to sign in with one of our team members. You will then be introduced to one of our experienced tandem instructors. Your instructor will tell you everything you need to know about the equipment, talk you through the aircraft flight, the skydive, the parachute ride and landing, and will help you practise the required freefall and landing body positions.
Following your training, you'll be provided with a skydiving jumpsuit and fitted into your harness. You and your instructor will then board the aircraft. Once inside the aircraft your instructor will secure your harness to theirs and the aircraft will take off. The flight to altitude will take approximately 20 minutes where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the British countryside.
When you reach the exit altitude of around 15,000 ft, you'll begin moving towards the door. The adrenaline kicks in as you and your instructor jump from the aircraft and begin accelerating to terminal velocity. Freefall will last between 50 to 60 seconds and you will reach speeds of around 120 mph. At 6,000ft your instructor will deploy the parachute.
After the parachute has been deployed, you'll be able to talk to your instructor and even try steering it. You'll practice the landing position and have time to enjoy the amazing views. Your instructor will take control for the landing and you can breathe a sigh of relief when back on solid ground.
You should expect to be with us for 4-5 hours to complete your tandem skydive. However, we cannot account for the weather or other delays so please allow yourself the whole day to enjoy this unique experience.
Tandem Options & Prices
Alongside our tandem skydive package, we offer two types of video packages to capture every aspect of your jump.
A video package is a fantastic way to remember your skydive and share it with your family and friends. The package includes an edited video and photos starting from the moment you walk to the aircraft until you land safely on the ground. You will receive the video and photos via email a few days after your skydive.

Freefall Photographer
£125
You will get a personal camera flyer who will jump out of the aircraft with you and record you in freefall at all angles until the moment your parachute opens. They will then land before you to record your landing.

Instructor Handcam
£100
Your instructor will wear a wrist mounted GoPro camera to film your skydive. This option is the ultimate skydive selfie and is the best package if you want close up freefall shots. This option also allows your instructor to record footage of you under canopy.
